Our grandson, Michael Stevantoni, who’s been making films since he was six, is now in second year university, at Dodge College, Chapman University, Orange CA.
There, he directed a short film, about five minutes long, called Eduardo.
It was shot on 8 mm film (not digital) and is in Spanish with sub-titles.
Kodak Film Challenge
After it was completed, he found out that Kodak was having a film contest encouraging filmmakers to make short Super 8 films and compete for a money prize as well as a chance to be in the Slamdance Film Festival.
The first part of the competition is a popularity contest, so he needs your vote.
As you can appreciate, the competition is fierce. There are over 500 entries.
15 films, the ones who get the most votes, will move on to the final part of the competition.
The winner will be decided by a jury.
If he’s successful in this Kodak Film Challenge, he would use the money to help fund a feature film he’s been writing.
Eduardo
Voting starts Tuesday, December 22nd, 9 a.m. and goes to December 29th at 10 p.m.
Please vote for Eduardo and help Michael get into that final round.
You can see his film and vote at:

I just voted. You can vote again and again, but only once a day. You’ll be asked to join the film community and give your phone number. There’s a spot before you’re finished the voting procedure to tick that you’re not a filmmaker. The phone number (which remains confidential) is to ensure that you’re not a robot.
Best of luck to Michael!
Michael says thanks. Appreciate the support. Hugs.
