Now, I know why I’m not the greatest housekeeper in the world. Details, details. I thought I couldn’t use both Feedburner and Mail Chimp, but I was wrong, so hopefully that’ll work out for both me and my subscribers. If it ain’t broke….
As for housekeeping, I’d much rather sit at my computer than pick up a dust cloth. Of course, I’ll only let things go so far. Yesterday, I picked up a dead fly off my desk. Wonder how long he was there? Was he the one who inspired me to write about a fly?
By the way, is there anyone out there who likes housekeeping? Kudos to you if you do. I’d rather make magic with words.
Oh, me too. If only I could teach the dog to vacuum!
You know, Julia and JP, I really try hard to keep a neat desk, but it’s not how I work. It’s funny, when I was working in management of an EAP counselling agency, I found a clean desk was stressful. I was relieved to hear one motivational speaker say, a cluttered desk was evidence of a busy mind, an empty desk was evidence of, you got it, an empty mind. How’s that for motivation to keep doing what I’m doing. 🙂
I’m with you. I hate housework.
I can’t say I’m a fan of housekeeping but I like the results of a neat, tidy environment. But then again I prefer writing to doing house chores and do most of my writing at coffee shops and such places, so go figure …
My sentiments exactly. In my next life, I’m coming back with a magic wand, and I can just wave it at the dust. Think about how much more writing time I’ll have.
