Peace on Earth and Good Will Toward Men
This holiday season, I’m wishing you and yours a very merry Christmas. Or perhaps you’ve celebrated Hanukkah. I hope your celebrations were happy ones. Or whatever you do at this time of year, I’m wishing you and your family a new year of joy and good health.
My husband and I recently attended the wonderful Christmas Story at the Holy Trinity Church in Toronto. Whatever you think about Jesus, and his birth, the story is one of promise. The promise of peace and good will toward men.
With recent problems in the USA, where families have lost their precious little ones, and conflict in the middle east and other places on this planet, I hope and pray that we are entering a new era, one where more will think of using words instead of bullets to get their message across. I hope we will usher in a new era of greater reason, of greater love towards all men, regardless of race, religion, creed, or sex. An era where humanity soars over power and greed.
We live on a beautiful planet with beautiful people. Wishing you peace on earth and good will toward men. And to my fellow writers, happy writing! To my fellow readers, happy reading!
